Sam Mather
Senior Analyst - Business Development
As a member of the Business Development team, Sam is primarily responsible for deal origination across new platform opportunities as well as supporting portfolio company M&A efforts.
Prior to joining WCP, Sam worked on Goldman Sachs’ Separately Managed Account (SMA) team within their asset management division. Prior to that, he worked within private wealth teams at Dearborn Partners and J.P. Morgan Chase. He earned a BS in Economics with a minor in General Business from Miami University.
Outside of work, Sam serves as a board member for the Chicago Children’s Charities organization. He also enjoys live music, Chicago sports, and spending time actively outdoors.
