Matt Albers
Partner - Capital Markets
Matt leads the firm’s debt capital markets activities. He is responsible for all aspects of the financing process including sourcing, structuring, and negotiating financing for WCP’s new and existing platforms as well as managing and growing the firm’s relationships with its financing partners.
Prior to joining WCP, Matt worked at Antares Capital where he focused on structuring, underwriting, and syndicating debt financings for private equity backed companies. Prior to Antares, he worked in leveraged finance-focused investment banking roles at both Huntington National Bank and BMO Capital Markets. Matt holds a BBA in Finance from the Seidman School of Business at Grand Valley State University, an MS in Finance from the Illinois Institute of Technology’s Stuart School of Business, and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
In his personal time he enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters, golfing, skiing, and following Formula 1 racing.
