David Lowenberg

Operating Partner

David's relationship with WCP began in 2009 when he was a board member of CarePoint Partners in Waud Capital Partners II. He is currently the chairman of the board of Cordant Health Solutions, Health and Safety Institute, Provider Network Holdings, and Lifelong Learner. He is also on the board of GI Alliance. In addition, David works with the executive management of each of these WCP companies to establish charity funds supporting nonprofit organizations that serve wounded warriors, first responders, and families in need of medical care.

Previously, David was Chief Operating Officer of Express Scripts and President and Chief Executive Officer of its Curascript subsidiary. Earlier in his career, he worked as an executive with both local and state governments in Arizona, including serving as the Executive Director of the Arizona Welfare Department, to which he was appointed by the Governor of Arizona. David holds a Master’s degree in Public Management from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.

David spends time volunteering to contribute to his community, including being Santa Claus each Christmas Eve and delivering presents. He also babysits his grandchildren, which keeps him young (in spirit) and active.
