Chad Birckelbaw

Operating Partner

Chad is an operating partner at WCP and the CEO of HSI, a WCP portfolio company. He has served as CEO of HSI since 2016. Previously, he served as the President and CEO of FairPay Solutions, a workers’ compensation cost containment and payment integrity specialist. Chad started his career at State Farm Insurance where he held various management roles. He brings more than 30 years of operating experience across multiple sectors with a strong track record of growth.

Chad also serves on the board of Career Certified (formerly known as The CE Shop), a WCP portfolio company. He received a BA in Business Administration from Illinois State University.

In his free time, Chad enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters, following his favorite sports teams, and looking for his golf ball in the rough.
