Reeve B. WaudManaging Partner

Reeve Waud is the Founder and Managing Partner of Waud Capital. Over his 32-year investment career, he has acquired more than 250 companies. Prior to founding WCP in 1993, Mr. Waud worked at the private equity firm Golder, Thoma, Cressey, Rauner and in the venture capital group at Salomon Brothers.

Mr. Waud is Chairman of Heart + Paw, Lead Director of Acadia Healthcare Company and is on the Board of Pilot Thomas Logistics.

Mr. Waud is a Trustee, Chairman of the Audit and Enterprise Risk Committee and Member of the Executive Committee of St. Paul’s School in Concord, New Hampshire; a Trustee, Member of the Executive Committee and Chairman of the Audit and Finance Committee of the John G. Shedd Aquarium.  He is a Member of the Northwestern Memorial HealthCare Finance Committee and serves on the board of Northwestern Memorial Foundation.  Mr. Waud is also a Trustee and Member of the Finance Committee of the Art Institute of Chicago; serves on the Executive Committee as the First Vice Chair of The Economic Club of Chicago and leads the Program Committee; and is Chairman of the Illinois State Police Merit Board, which has oversight responsibility for the State Police.

Mr. Waud holds a B.A. in Economics from Middlebury College and an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
