Libby Baker
Director - People Operations
Libby is the Director of People Operations at WCP, focused on building and maintaining strong internal talent processes and organizational health within WCP. She is responsible for making WCP a talent-first organization, and as a result, she spends her time on performance management, learning and development, internal recruiting, culture / organizational health, DEI and total rewards.
Prior to joining WCP in 2021, Libby was the VP of Organizational Development and Plant HR at Home Chef, a Chicago-based meal delivery company, where she oversaw strategic talent initiatives across the whole organization and led HR across three manufacturing facilities nationwide. Prior to Home Chef, Libby spent almost seven years with McKinsey & Company where she focused on management consulting from the perspective of people and culture, organizational design and talent management.
Libby holds a BA in Economics and French from Northwestern University, an MBA from Georgetown University, and a certificate in International Business Diplomacy from Georgetown’s School of Foreign Service. She also has a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification. Outside of work, Libby is a mom to 2 young boys who keep her very busy. She is an avid Northwestern Wildcats football fan and a crossword puzzle addict.
