WCP formed Regency Hospital Company in 2001 by partnering with a highly experienced group of managers with an outstanding record of success in the long-term acute care (“LTAC”) industry. LTAC hospitals are specialized intensive care facilities that focus on treating critically ill patients for extended periods of time. Regency currently operates nineteen hospitals around the country and has several more in active development.
